Clinic threatens to pull treatment, call cops for patient’s swine flu DVDs
Told to sign ‘behavior agreement’

WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS – A kidney dialysis clinic threatened to pull treatment from an elderly patient who distributed DVDs warning of the dangers of the swine flu vaccine, and then was told to sign a “behavior agreement” to cease the practice.The patient, who requested anonymity for fear that she would be retaliated against by doctors and medical staff for coming forward, was cited once before by specialists and office managers for distributing Aaron Russo’s America: From Freedom to Fascism as well, she said.
Located on Interstate 35 East and Farm to Market Road 66, the officer manager for FMC Dialysis Services who handed the patient the “behavior agreement” refused to comment.
“Our company is a large company, so I can’t comment,” the office manager said, who refused to give her name. “I don’t make company policy, I just follow it.”
The two-page behavior agreement came with an audio recording prohibition policy after the patient attempted to record meetings with the doctors and staff who threatened her.
The patient, who still must rely on the dialysis center for treatment, said she is fearful that causing “trouble” by coming to the press will cause the clinic to follow through on their threats.
The swine flu DVD, the patient said, was the 1979 60 Minutes clip that broadcast a report about the dangers of taking the swine flu vaccination.
Russo’s America: From Freedom to Fascism details the allegations into the unconstitutionality of the U.S. income tax, a film distributed widely among “tax honesty” advocates across the nation.
“Notice both documents say law enforcement will be called in if necessary,” the patient said. “The office manager threatened me several times with that if I didn’t sign the behavior agreement. Their handbook doesn’t have any of this in it. They repeatedly told me I had signed ‘the papers.’ They only produced [one] signed paper in which I gave my consent for dialysis treatments and acknowledged the risks of the treatments.”

Any private business can suspend solicitation on their property. That includes handbills, pamphlets, DVDs, etc.
If it is different because they accept federal/state money, this may be something, but I don’t believe it makes a difference.
They most likely have a procedure in place so once the agreement is signed, and then if they refuse treatment in the future for the same infraction, they are covered.
It’s not a public hospital. I don’t believe they have to treat her. She has the opportunity to go somewhere else, no matter how much of an inconvenience.

It sounds like she needs a mental health referal. I think the clinic has a right to control behavior on private property. I dont get it.

You need to recheck your definition of “solicitaion,” then check your definition of, “ETHICS.” Giving away free information to your fellow citizens is NOT a solicitaion. If you start labeling it as such, many of us are gonna start getting arrested to for trying to spread the truth that the main stream media, somehow, forgets to report on. In this case, how the vaccines are killing people, and if you haven’t seen, “From Freedom to Fascism,” you should.
That being said, yes, the clinic is a private practice, and can suspend her treatment for any reason they want. And she can, in return, file a MALPRACTICE LAWSUIT against that clinic for making her go out and find another dialisys clinic simply because she is trying to share information with her fellow man. Christ man, she was just trying to spread the word about the possible dangers of the swine flu vaccine, and hand out a movie, and this stupid little clinic feels the need to THREATEN her with treatment ceasation. Are you serious? Do you really feel they are in order here? Certainly, they have the right to refuse service, but what kind of HEALTHCARE FACILITY turns a patient away, and forces them to go elsewhere for treatment just because they disagree with that patients beliefs or politics? Probably, the same healthcare clinic that is so afraid of their response to this situation being so harshly critisized that they refused to allow the patient to record the position being taken by that clinic on this very issue.
She should go elsewhere if for no other reason than the fact that this, “healthcare,” clinic has demonstarated that they care little for people’s health. And you, FedUp, need to re-think your position on what a healthcare can and/or should do and what they should be responsible for.

I am a manager of a small, independent dialysis center. This FMC dialysis center is a large “chain” that seeks to gobble up centers like mine. In my center, we would never hastle a patient like that or threaten to kick someone out for something so benign. In fact, we take patients that the “chains” have kicked out. But, I am certain that with Obamacare, you will see the smallfry like us disappear because the corporate dialysis big boys will get preferential financial treatment from the government; kind of like the disappearing small family farm or corner market. Pray that you don’t need dialysis someday…
No FedUp, it’s NOT solicitaion just because it’s on private property. The location does not changet he definition of the word. If she wasn’t asking for anything in return, no money, no donations, nothing of any worth, she is NOT soliciting. She is spreading information.
And again, the clinic has the right to refuse to allow her to do it, and to ask her to leave. I absolutely agree with you on that. As does she have the right to file a malpractice suit, and yes, I agree, frivilous, and/or nuisance lawsuits are why we have too many lawyers. However, to threaten someone with a ceasation of treatment, to deny her the right to film their reaction to her distribution of literature, and to treat her in this manner, is PSYCHO!!! Where is the RESPECT for their patients? The clinics response to her handing out information is FAR WORSE, civilly, morally, ethically, and even logically, than her filing a nuisance lawsuit to make them pay for their horrendous decisions. And I bet you, if this did get to a jury, she would win, which makes this anything but a frivilous lawsuit! We are “FedUp” with the way these “clinics” treat us. And I have GREAT insurance!

Sure they are bad and the Swine flu is mild but wait till they release the “real” one. The you will have the choice. Vaccinate and be micro chipped or die from the disease engineered in the labs. The vast majority of stories I read on infowars have much merit. This one however looks ridiculous. Those documents make it sound like this woman was being a complete bitch and disrupting a legit business from which she was seeking services but then trying to tell them how to service her then making threats to them and being generally disruptive. She sounds crazy. CLINICALLY crazy. It sounds more like she was going there to cause problems than to seek treatment. Somehow I doubt she really cares that they would refuse her treatment when she indicates that she doesn’t really even WANT their treatment. Bogus bogus bogus. Alex, PLEASE take this story down. I think Also everyone needs to ask themselves “why did this medical facility have these papers for their patients to sign in the first place?” “What were they ALREADY doing wrong to warrant the need for these kind of papers to be signed by their patients?” It is a typical legal strategy. If u know u are doing something that could potentially cause a lawsuit, you have papers signed to protect you from that lawsuit. For instance…. If you get surgery one of the papers you sign is a consent for treatment. By signing this consent form you are telling them it is ok to treat your illness, injury, or disease, BUT if they SCREW IT UP, You/your family can’t sue them for it going wrong, because they told you that there are risks. That does not sound fair to me. If I screw something up and it costs someone their lives I will go to jail… I will have a lawsuit pressed against me… If anything the people in the medical profession should be held MORE reliable if something goes wrong, or they do something wrong, because they have the ABILITY to do more harm than we could. And by the way FEDUP- if her handing out dvd’s at the clinic is solicitation, and you are not allowed to Solicit on their property, then why do they have pamphlets in the waiting room from pharmaceutical companies, and other organizations? If what she is doing is solicitation then the doctors and everyone else that works there should be fired they should close the doors right now cause they are soliciting, breaking their own rules. This is coercion. The clinic’s handling of the matter is incredibly out of line, and completely out of their professional sphere, which is medical treatment. I wish the patient the best, and applaud her spirit.
How the hell is this happening in TX? That they’re threatening her life over her speech should have the state coming down on them like the wrath of G-d for abridgment of her First Amendment rights. I like FedinTX’s response. However, this lady should respect the wishes of this facility and not pass out the literature. She doesn’t have to pass out that information at this facility or on their property. She can do it elsewhere. It is a matter of respect. Her freedom ends where this facilities freedom begins. I didn’t take the flu shot. I would love to see the DVD, but you have to keep in mind too, 1979 was 30 years ago and hopefully, medicine has improved since then. On the other hand, I absolutley have NO faith in this current government and I don’t want to see our healthcare fall into the hands of government. Democrat or Republican alike.

I felt I must add this comment.I arrive at the center about 20 minutes before busness hours.Patients sit in the waiting room and talk on a variety of subjects and enjoy the comradery of being dialysis patients.This is when I offer the dvds.When the business opens,we are called by name and enter the treatment area.We are then connected to the machine by two very large needles into our access(veins)and we sit for 3-5 hours.We sleep and watch the propoganda tv they put in front of us(not me tho – I listen to archived truth programs on my mp3)Most of us feel like crap by the time it is over.How disruptive could I be? What a joke!
